Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Markdown Print ("the App", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Data We Collect
We collect minimal, anonymous data to improve the App:
- Crash reports — via Firebase Crashlytics. When the App crashes, anonymous technical data (device model, OS version, stack trace) is sent to help us fix bugs. This data is not linked to your identity.
- Performance data — when you review a document with AI, we collect timing data (how long the AI took, prompt/response lengths) and model information. This data is anonymized and contains no document content.
- Usage analytics — via Firebase Analytics. Basic events like button taps and settings toggles are logged to help us understand how the App is used. This data is anonymous and contains no personal identifiers.
We do not collect: document content, personal files, email addresses, names, location data, or browsing history.
2. AI Processing
All AI analysis runs entirely on your device using local models (LiteRT-LM / flutter_gemma). No document text, prompts, or AI outputs are ever sent to cloud servers. The App works fully offline.
3. No User Accounts
The App does not require sign-in, registration, or user accounts. There is no personal data to associate with an identity.
4. Third-party Services
We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics (Google) for crash reporting and anonymous usage analytics. Google's privacy policy applies to those services: policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Data Security
All AI models and document processing run locally. Crash data transmitted to Firebase is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page.
